2014 Kikuyugrass Control

September – October: Sprayed and banded tees, aprons, and fairways with an herbicide called “Drive”. This process took place prior to overseeding to reduce the kikuyugrass population and give the desirable turf or perennial ryegrass the competative advantage.

– Two applications of drive required for good control of kikuyugrass.

– Heavy seeding rates required for good fill on higher quality turf like tees and aprons.
